How IBAins feel about enrolment?
As IBA students, at the start of every semester, we all have to go through the depressing process of enrollment. I believe that most of the students will agree that they worry more about this perplexing procedure compared to how their actual semester is likely to turn out; how many courses should I add to my enrolment shopping cart? or what if my backups clash? are some of the most common questions students ruminate over before deciding which teachers to opt for. This behavior’s rationale is simple: get good teachers and you will easily pass the semester without any significant hassle. One platform that we all resort to before our enrolment is IBA-All Classes.
Hard work or Teacher reviews: What should we rely on?
This goes without saying that IBA-All Classes is the best place where you can find a detailed review of almost every faculty member at IBA. Students tag each other on different posts about teachers in this Facebook group and discuss whether to enroll in a course with those instructors or not.
Indeed, students run away from teachers who have “bad” reviews. However, not to disregard anyone’s opinion, are these reviews applicable to every student studying at IBA? The answer is NO. It is not necessary that if someone did not perform well in a course with that respective instructor that the same will happen to you.
Each of us has a different aptitude and personality. Instead of thinking as if it is the end of the world when you get the opportunity to study from an individual who was not your preference, we should have the courage to accept it as a challenge and aim to excel in it.

From my personal experience, I have never had an enrollment where I got all my desired teachers. Yet, I have managed to score as well as my friends, who were enrolled in courses with teachers who were relatively easy graders. I used to think that a perfect enrolment was the key to getting good grades in a given semester. However, I have always challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and work hard to secure good grades.
Trust me when I say this, it is an entirely different feeling to score an A on a strict teacher. You have earned that grade through extreme dedication, devotion, and determination. Solely basing your success on teacher reviews is a wrong practice, and we need to change this mindset. Running after grades is going to disturb your mental peace. It also does not allow you to learn anything from the courses you are studying. The hunger to acquire knowledge will automatically pave your path towards triumph.
