We live in a sad society. One that has become apathetic to the injustices surrounding it each day. Thus, it has unfortunately turned a blind eye against them.
Therefore, in such a grim situation, the underprivileged citizens of Pakistan have become hopeless. They are now thinking that there is very little or no way left to pull our deprived society through these vulnerable times.
Issues faced by the citizens
Pakistan is an underdeveloped country that not only has major economic issues, but also social ones.
Every day millions of children leave their homes, not for education, but to earn a living for their families.
Moreover, a large number of women are raped and several newborn girls are buried alive. Gender discrimination is prevalent depriving female citizens of their basic rights. Additionally, illiteracy also stands as one of the most chief social issues in our country.
All these concerns have deep-rooted effects on the country’s economic stability and its goodwill.

A ray of hope in our society
As the Government of Pakistan has almost failed to meet the human-development goals. As a result, Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have undertaken this responsibility. Consequently, they have started to act as a duct-tape for the neglected class, joining them with their basic civil liberties.
Consequently, the NGOs have been promoting the social welfare of underprivileged citizens in numerous ways. For example, low income citizens are being offered education free of charge. Moreover, the handicapped and mentally challenged individuals are being taken special care of in terms of shelter and medication.

Therefore, we are now aware of the fact that the ever strong determination of these NGOs has held our society together.
Furthermore, their self-sacrificing attitudes have made all of us realize the importance of philanthropy and how it comforts and satisfies ones’ souls and hearts. Thus, all this provides us the motivation to donate a couple of hours from our busy schedules to look into the problems of those whose rights we shun every day and, hence work on their social upliftment.
