IS LEADERSHIP INNATE OR ACQUIRED?

The author thought that everyone is born with the ability to lead. All leadership traits, such as resilience, consistency, invention, and strong communication abilities, are present in children from birth. Parents prevent their children from discovering themselves by refusing to allow them to participate in the majority of their activities. Their creativity is stifled as a result of this. Malala Yousufzai, for example, was only 15 years old when she was shot. Any normal person would have given up their job, but Malala was tenacious and took advantage of the opportunity to become the face of female education. She became a global icon as a result of her persistence and originality.

Leadership bankruptcy in the world right now

Six countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, India, and Russia, are responsible for half of Covid’s death. The countries with the most resources in the world failed to address the biggest crises of the recent history. As a result, all leaders failed collectively. We have leaders who have profited from lockdowns, such as Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. In the last few months, his fortune has increased exponentially due to the rise in e-commerce. However, Amazon employees, on the other hand, are surviving on minimum wages. That’s problematic because it demonstrates a lack of leadership in keeping his team together. A great leader is someone who makes a difference and leaves a place in a better state than when they arrived.

When you work for a company your salary is guaranteed but your job is not. when your work for yourself your job is guaranteed but your salary is not.

What’s the biggest challenge for leaders in Pakistan?

Mr. Tariq Khan stated that he has mentored a number of Pakistani managers; all of them are equally competent and intelligent. Pakistani employees have a problem with their laid-back attitude. In the United States, you won’t hear about what kind of food will be available during the meetings; tasks and agendas takes priority. It is critical to have a task-based strategy in order to make a difference. The author believed that leaders in Pakistan will have to redefine cultural norms to achieve their potential.
